Hamza Baroudi (b. 1997) is a visual artist based in Morocco, he lives and works between Fez and Tetouan, and his work mainly consists of drawings, paintings, installations, photography, and animation.

During his years at the National Institute of Fine Arts in Tetouan, Hamza Baroudi worked on multiple themes and concepts, such as the problematic relationship between society and technology, artisanal practices and their mysticism from past to present, and many other projects that helped him explore and conceptualize furthermore his artistic vision.

In 2023, Hamza Baroudi graduated from Tetouan’s National Institute of Fine Arts with a project titled: “The Aesthetics of Illusion: Between Visual Reception and Psychological Impact”. Within that project, he presented a series of works that combine optical illusions with a set of metaphorical representations that depicts the psychology behind how illusions are perceived, as well as its sociological impact on humanity.
